As an audience I was
wondering how a same story can be told which is still refresh in every ones
mind. Marc Webb showed it with “The Amazing Spider Man”. Thanks to this amazing
director and his brilliant star cast, this film deserves a definite watch.
With a story line that
everyone knows, Marc Webb as director had a very limited scope to make this movie
appealing and he just does that. The Amazing Spider Man is more real,
emotional, trendy and logical when compared to its predecessors. One thing which
I liked the most about Mac Webb’s direction was, the way he portrayed his characters
be it Peter Parker or his aunt & uncle or girl friend Gewn played by Emma. He
made sure every character has that emotional connect and that really worked.
Coming to the plot, Peter
Parker played by Andrew Garfield is a boy with his share of problems, left with
his aunt & uncle after his parent’s demise. How an introvert parker
transforms into a spider man and takes on the monstrous lizard and becomes a
super hero is the plot of the story.
Coming to individual
performances the one that truly stands out and worth appreciating is Andrew
Garfield. An appealing boyish face full of emotions, Andrew Gafield truly
reminds of stalwarts like Al Pacino in some of the scenes. He just brings the
natural flavor to the character.
Emma stone with her
charismatic looks justifies her role and puts up a good performance. Parkers
Uncle & Aunt, May & Ben played by Sally & Martin in spite of
limited screen presence does an amazing job and is worth appreciating.
Lastly, the special
effects team deserves double thumbs up especially for designing those night
sequences extra ordinarily.
